This shall be a purely short(I hope)and band-based(Hoping again) post in view of the coming SYF.

Why I type this here instead of band blog is beyond me.
I think came a looooooooooooong way since the start of the year when what we probably would have gotten then was something lower the C.O.P assuming there was such a thing.Like the various conductors and teachers said,we improved greatly over the past few months(4 to be exact).For a band that hasn't gotten gold in its entire history...well getting gold probably will be an up-hill climb,which we pretty much made it.Conductors said we on the line of gold!!!So let's work harder a little tomorrow when we perform and nail the two songs that have most likely been haunting us even asleep(probably just for me lar).Some people think that music is purely technical stuff,just the dynamics and articulation etc.Too bad I don't agree,aside from all that there must be a certain amount of heart and soul in it,just enjoy and live in the music,making it uniquely ours with our own intepretation of the piece and getting what we want shouldn't be a problem.Remember that while we are "competiting" with other JCs tomorrow,its not a competition!Just play like we always play during practice and do it even better and everything will be fine.
